What a wonderful day we had with Kgati Ya Moshate Secondary School in Mokopane, Limpopo, as part of United Way's Youth Success Programme, which focuses on Grade 9 and 12 Maths, Science and English extra tuition. The programme is conducted after school, weekends and during School Holidays.
The school principal's feedback: 'It is the first time in the history of the school, to see an increase as well as improvement in our Maths and Science classes. Science from 65% to 100%. Maths from 13% to 72%. We are trully grateful to the teachers and the interventions of United Way South Africa.'
Girl-Learner feedback: ‘I improved from 37% to 76% in Maths, and I am excited as the entire school average improved to 100% in Science.
Boy-Learner feedback: ‘ I am very grateful for the teaching in Mathematics and Science as I have improved a lot and we have seen great progress in the school. Thank you United Way.’
