Fun Friday

Tshepang Care Centre in Vusimuzi in Tembisa, our beneficiary, experienced real love at the end of the month of love. A box full of books was donated by our generous corporate partner. Another two boxes full of hygiene packs for girls and boys were also donated. These gifts are contributed by the corporate staff members as part of its employee-giving strategy.

United Way South Africa is proud of this partnership that started officially in the middle of 2023, which has contributed immensely in our Health and Wellness socio-economic development pillar.

Give

Oh yes it was a plan to arrive at the centre when young people were still at school, just so that the gifts would be sorted and distributed evenly and fairly - something that we all know doesn’t really exist in young people’s minds. They certainly want all the gifts for themselves. Is that not fair?
So please join us too and let us help our vulnerable youngsters. No gift is ever too small or insignificant. Together We Are Stronger!

Our focus areas for community development centres around three pillars: Education, Health and Income generation.

We win by Living United; by forging unlikely partnerships, by finding new solutions to old problems, by mobilising the best resources and inspiring individuals to join the fight against their community’s daunting social crises.
