Food Security Projects in Limpopo

Food Security Projects in Limpopo

‘Spring and fall, those are very inspiring times of the year for me’ - Henry Rollins

As we venture into Spring....we are expecting rain and the beautiful weather, and as such, are excited about the programs and projects we have in Mokopane, Limpopo.

We are anticipating the food security projects. We visited a particular farm in the area, with the focus of; training for capacity building, farming to feed children in schools and eggs-production, as part of our income generation initiatives. The experience is mind-blowing and the potential for this type of partnership, over and above mutual benefits, is energising. United Way South Africa cannot wait to roll her sleeves up, in collaboration with local volunteers, to make this partnership flourish for the benefit of the community.

Limpopo farming

We visited this farm. With the focus of training for capacity building, farming to feed children in schools and eggs hatching as part of income generation.
